The Rapid Response™ Pregnancy Test Cassette test for human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in human urine specimens, to aid in the early detection of pregnancy. Kit contains 25 Tests per kit.The Rapid Response™ Pregnancy Test Cassette is a rapid visual read for the qualitative, presumptive detection of hCG in urine specimens at 20 mIU/mL or higher. Although first morning urine specimens are preferable, urine specimens from any time of day can be used. Each test cassette is individually sealed in a pouch with a disposable pipette. “C” and “T” are printed directly on the cassette for easy-to-read test result lines. In just 3 minutes, test results can be observed through the visual interpretation of colored lines.

Our Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a native protein produced from a sterile preparation of placental glucoprotein urine of pregnant women and has a total Mw of 36.7 kDa. The hCG consists of 237 amino acids; 92 a.a. a-chain and 145 a.a. b-chain. Lyophilized with no additives. Free of HbsAg and antibodies to HIV and HCV. Biological Activity: Each lot is bioactivity tested and the IU/mg is stated on a lot-specific datasheet and vial label. Generally speaking, bioactivity ranges between 4000-6000 IU/mg. Application: Our hCG is commonly used in combination with our Pregnant Mare Serum Gonadotropin (PMSG, eCG) in superovulation protocols for production of genetically modified laboratory animals, such as GEMM by pronuclear microinjection (transgenic mouse), targeted mutations through CRISPR-Cas9 methods, and ES-cell-based gene targeting to produce knockout mice. Our hCG can be used in the generation of Xenopus laevis and X. tropicalis eggs or embryos for use in experimental models.
